Dwarf Pink Lamb’s Ear

(6″ tall x 12-15″ wide.) Dwarf Pink Lamb’s Ear (Stachys maxima) is a low-growing groundcover with showy pink flower spikes in early summer. Dwarf Pink Lamb’s Ear is a little know Old World native, and in the landscape, it’s a very useful, low-care plant that slowly spreads to form a tight, weed-resistant carpet of attractive bright green foliage. An excellent lawn replacement for semi-shade areas.
